PTT Button

PTT means Push-to-Talk. Pressing the PTT Button is the most commonly used method of switching a two-way radio into transmission mode. All of the Motorola two-way radios we offer have a PTT button on the left side of the radio (when viewed from the front).

With the exception of earphones and the listen-only version of headband-headsets, our headsets also have a PTT button. Wear gloves when you work? We also offer special versions of headsets that feature an extra-large PTT button.

For climbing work or for directing, using voice-activation (-> VOX / Voice Control wiki entry) may also be a good idea.

Depending on the version, other functions can be assigned to the PTT button as well. Our Radio-Rental.com team will be happy to advise you on this. Call us at +49 30 2938197-0 – or write mail mail@Radio-Rental.com.
